Water Damage in a Hospital

In August of 2018, a sprinkler head broke at a major Connecticut hospital causing major water damage. One 3,000 square foot floor was flooded with water and the moisture seeped into the walls.

We determine the scope of the water damage and how far the moisture had traveled to ensure proper and complete restoration.

Then we removed the majority of the water with pumps and vacuum units. Next our crew used specialized equipment to remove the remaining water. We used room measurements, temperature, and relative humidity to determine the best number of air movers and dehumidifiers needed to dry the hospital wing.

Then we cleaned restorable items and structures damaged by the water. We decontaminated the hospital wing and removed odors and deodorize the floor.
