New Franchise Training

New franchise owners start with a fifteen-day hands-on training program at the training facility at SERVPRO headquarters. This is also a valuable course for franchise employees. The program covers all aspects of the basic skills required to do damage remediation the SERVPRO way:

• Fire restoration
• Water restoration
• Carpet and upholstery cleaning
• Mold mitigation

Employee Certification Training

Our employees earn certifications after taking this self-paced program and successfully passing the examination. Modules include:

• General crew training
• Fire restoration
• Water restoration
• Carpet and upholstery cleaning

IICRC Training Program

SERVPRO of Bloomfield/Enfield is proud to be a member of the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC), the damage restoration industry’s premier organization. In fact, the SERVPRO corporation is an approved IICRC Training School. We offer year-around classes in:

• Fire restoration
• Water restoration
• Carpet cleaning
• Upholstery cleaning
• Applied structural drying

E-Learning

Our employees have ongoing access to the corporation’s web-based training program. At their own pace, employees review videos and support materials, then complete each module by testing.

Continuing Education

SERVPRO offers employees both credit and noncredit courses in emergency damage mitigation. These courses are also available to community-based insurance agents, insurance adjusters and real estate professionals. Courses include:

• Water damage restoration
• Fire damage restoration
• Understanding mold in the restoration industry
• Restorative drying for loss control
• Mitigation awareness response seminar (non-credit course)
